SEED – the empowerment tool for the advancement of the 21st century woman
SEED is the recognised authority on the feminine way to do business. Through learning programmes, support network, events and unique tools, SEED enables women to live and work according to the feminine principles of community, connection and collaboration.
Founded by author and PR Guru Lynne Franks, SEED is based on her international best-seller, The SEED Handbook, the feminine way to create business. The 2005 edition, which includes an exclusive interactive SEED CD Rom, launched on March 8th, International Women’s Day at the House of Lords at a champagne reception hosted by Baroness Amos.
The compelling SEED learning programmes combine personal development and sustainable business practices in a creative, experiential environment. SEED’s development of distance learning projects incorporates SMS with both online and real-time workshops.
SEED programmes, coaching and workshops are held throughout the country in partnership with regional and national government as well as with corporations. SEED targets 35-55 year old women wishing to simplify their lives in a way that combines both personal and professional aspirations.
SEED’s current projects include “Plant the SEEDs at Starbucks"; distance learning for schools and colleges; SEED For Life for disadvantaged women; the first Centre for Female Entrepreneurship in partnership with Luton University; SEED online-community in partnership with Tiscali, Europe’s largest internet provider and SEED creative women’s leadership retreats.
SEED’s workshops, retreats and programmes have inspired women all over the world, creating the SEED Network of local groups, both online and in real-time community.
