April affirmation: Know that there's nothing more sexy than confidence
In March, to celebrate International Women’s Day, I launched the 2005 edition of the SEED Handbook at the House of Lords, hosted by The Rt. Hon. the Baroness Amos. Over 100 celebrity guests including politicians, top women entreprenuers, media personalities together with the SEED team and SEED graduates attended our champagne reception and you can see all the photos from the party.

Over the last month, I’ve been on tour with the SEED Handbook. I joined Carole Caplin, Irma Kurtz and Naomi Gryn on the panel for a discussion about Nice Jewish Gurus for Jewish Book Week and have given talks at book stores across the country. Thanks to all the women (and a few brave men) who came to my book store talks. It was so inspiring to meet all you budding entrepreneurs and see you all connecting. I'm sure many fruitful friendships and possible business partnerships will bloom from the events. I’ll be continuing my book tour at Ottaker's in Edinburgh on 19 April and Borders in Glasgow on 20 April, so do come and say hello.

Also, on 21 May, I’ll be facilitating a special one-day SEED Experience in Mayfair, London. Anyone who’s been on one of our one-day SEED Experiences will vouch that it’s a life-changing experience as well as being great fun! If you’re not sure what to expect, take a look at some of the photos from our first ever SEED Experience that was held in July 2003.
Book now and take advantage of our 'Bring a Friend' Spring Special - you save £15 for each friend (maximum 6) you bring who also books a place by 29 April 2005.
We’re adding new stories, photos and news to Seednetwork.com all the time, so please keep visiting the website and sharing your stories on the community board.

Stop press! Lynne’s media coverage
Lynne has been busy giving radio and television interviews over the last month. You may well have heard her chatting to Vanessa Feltz on London Live, the Julian Warricker show on Radio 5 Live or heard her talking on Channel 5 news about how UK women don’t want to be like the women in Desperate Housewives, running around in circles. Look out for forthcoming media coverage including her columns in Metro Plus magazine in Monday’s Metro, EVE magazine and more. You can find out about all Lynne’s media appearances on Seednetwork.com
Female entrepreneurs - do you need cash for your business?
We have been asked by the BBC producers of Dragons' Den to find some budding SEED entrepreneurs. Dragons’ Den is in its second series for BBC2 and gives investment ready entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their idea to a panel of five millionaire business people, all of whom invested a substantial amount in the first series and are serious about investing their own money again. Go to SEED News for more details.
