Prowess (a network of organisations and individuals who support the growth of women's business ownership) are currently working on a project with the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) to improve opportunities for women developing businesses in this sector. Key project aims are to:
Build the capacity of business support providers to meet needs
Increase business opportunities for women owned SET businesses
Influence policy
Inspire other women in SET
Prowess is looking for female SET business owners who would be interested in taking part in a research survey looking at their experiences of business development. We will also be developing a case study booklet and video and need inspirational role models.
